Together

Hello and Welcome!

I’m excited to embark on this journey with you through my blog, where we will dive deep into the realms of relationships, couple therapy, and complex trauma. Whether you're here out of curiosity, a desire to strengthen your relationship, or a need to heal from past traumas, you’ve come to the right place.

Why Focus on Relationships and Trauma?

Relationships are mirrors reflecting our inner emotional states. Are you in a relationship but feel something is missing? Do you find that the marital bliss you dreamed of seems elusive? These feelings often indicate deeper issues that need addressing. Personal connection is a fundamental principle of life. Past traumas can interfere with your ability to connect deeply and meaningfully in your relationships.

The Intersection of Trauma and Relationships

Our life experiences can profoundly impact our relationships. Both partners bring their own experiences to their relationship dynamics. When relationships don't go how you think or feel they should, this could be a sign that underlying issues need processing. There are stressful times in any relationship. Stressful situations often trigger reactive behaviors, leading to misunderstandings and conflict.

In my practice, I focus on couples and trauma-informed psychotherapy to uncover and address the obstacles preventing you from enjoying healthy, meaningful relationships. This approach helps couples understand each other better, reduce reactivity, and build deeper, more supportive connections.

My Approach and Expertise

With Gd’s help and guidance, my background in complex trauma, sexual abuse training, somatic work, parts work (IFS), inner child work, family systems, and attachment theory has equipped me with the ability to recognize and handle the intricate dynamics that trauma brings into relationships. Sometimes, individual trauma work is necessary before effective couple therapy can take place. I aim to create a safe space where both partners feel accepted and understood, paving the way for healing and growth.

I offer spiritually inspired Jewish mindfulness as part of the therapy process for those who find it meaningful. This holistic approach is available to support you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, ensuring you feel fully supported in a way that resonates with your personal beliefs.
